Affiliate Marketing - Main Principles

Posted in affiliate marketing by Amanda Willson on July 16th, 2009 | No Comments

Are you willing to concentrate on your business instead of spending the most part of the day trying to attract traffic to your website? What if you could afford having an army of people to take care of it? Well, with affiliate marketing you can, and you even do not have to pay them unless they make you money.

But how do you get the starting affiliates to market for you so that you can focus on other things? If you are ready to build your own personal army of affiliates, these three principles can set you on the right track.

Firstly, make sure that promoting your products or services is a simple and rewarding process. In other words, offer your affiliates up to 75% commission. If you are starting out and if there is still a profit margin, you can go for it, at least before you you create your own client list.

The first one is that you have to make it really easy for the affiliates to promote you and to make a good commission doing so. This means that if you are just starting out, fifty or even seventy five percent commissions are going to be your best bet. Think about it this way: those are sales you would not have and if there is still a profit margin in there you might as well take what you can get until you build a list of subscribers.

Once you find them, contact the owner and let them know that you have a product they can sell to make more money. You may have to do this every day for a while before you get any action. However, if you have a sales page that converts and a product that is truly valuable, you can bet that once you find affiliates you will not have trouble keeping them.

The third principle you need to know about affiliate marketing is joint venture relationships. If you had many clients in your list and some online business owner would contact you and offer you a deal: you market his product to your clients and get a reward for every sale generated by people coming from your list. So, what you have to do is just to send out e-mails. Would you agree?

Of course, you would do it! So if you are able to connect with people who already have lists of their own, you dont need to make them an affiliate.

Instead, make a deal with them, offer a half of your profits and start creating our own client list as you will generate more and more sales.

Top Tips To Generate Traffic with Video Marketing

Posted in affiliate marketing by Alexis Jameson on June 29th, 2009 | No Comments

In this increasingly technologically advanced world, one of the leading marketing tools is fast becoming video marketing. And, with the revolution that is social networking, the best way to get your point across is to publish the video online. When advertising a new product, a winning formula is to become popular. Often, a way to become popular is to make people laugh, cry or react with a, “What the…” type exclamation. This can all be achieved with a well shot and well delivered video to your target audience.

The first thing that will lead your video onto success is to get all the vital components in place. Whether you are going to outsource the project, or work on it with just yourself and a buddy, this remains the same. A weakly conceived video will have the opposite effect to what is intended if this is not carefully considered.

If you are not confident, there are companies and individuals for hire to help you. Whether it is assisting with the script, hiring the cast, getting a location or any of the other considerations that will be covered a little later in this piece. Before working with someone, spend a little time to research them and have a look at previous efforts. Are they what you are looking for?

As well as a good product, the way you sell it will need to be top drawer. Many winning ideas have failed, because of poor marketing concepts. Ensure you have a strong selling story, that will entertain and get repeat visits. The idea is of course to generate sales, and a winning story can play a big part in achieving that.

Most videos that achieve success on the web are around a minute in length. Unless you are purposefully going for an extended feature, try to stick to this.. Once happy with the finished product, it is time to get it seen, talked about and exposed!

As I said earlier, there are other considerations that will need to be considered when using video marketing, such as placement and how to submit it. Obviously, you will carry the ad on your site, and promote it widely on your blog. However, not everyone has got a wide reach to draw in the traffic levels needed. This is where the veritable galaxy of networking sites come into their own.

The most popular sites for video marketing are the big players, such as YouTube, Google Video and, increasingly, Twitter. Free and easy to upload, your video could be generating traffic flow within minutes of posting. Try to ensure people are logging on as soon as it hits the web by announcing its launch in advance. People love to be the first to see things, and share it with their network. And that, is free advertising for you!

Many other sites exist that allow you to publish your video marketing content free of charge. If you are unsure where is best to go, professional companies and individuals could assist you considerably. Be sure to check out any recommendations independently before going with them and exchanging any money for this however.

What Is IM Remarkable

Posted in affiliate marketing by Bob Treacher on June 26th, 2009 | No Comments

Hey there and welcome to this article. Today Im going to be discussing a product that is soon to be released called im remarkable.

I’m sure this may be the first time you’ve heard about im remarkable but in the next couple of weeks a lot of people will be promoting it so you’ll hear a lot more about it.

Im remarkable is by a man called Howie Schwatz. You’ve probably heard of him because he has released many products before.

Im remarkable is going to be released on the 14 of july and you may be wondering what its all about, whether its worth the money and if its worth investing in it.

Im remarkable is sort of like an online training course for people that are struggling to make money online. It incorporates many different learning styles and training material.

From what I’ve heard Howie is going to give you a sort of interview to see where you are in your online career. He will then create the course around you so you which is very impressive nad has never been done before.

The next thing he has done after interviewing you is to place you in a group with other people with similiar knowledge to you.

When the training starts you will be learning though channels such as video and online group meetings as well as online seminars.

From what I’ve seen Howie is going to teach stuff like choosing a niche and getting traffic to landing pages where they will convert your traffic into customers. This may sound familiar but alot of people do it wrong and don’t make any money.

The thing that impresses me is that Howie is offering a full money back guarantee if you don’t make money while your on the program. He is also giving you access to a team that will help you if you get stuck on anything in the course.

Make sure you checkout IM remarkable when it’s released and see if it’s right for you.

Traffic Tricks for Affiliate Marketers No. 1

Posted in affiliate marketing by Timothy R Walls on June 3rd, 2009 | No Comments

ALL Affiliate Marketers Begin With the Same Small Baby Step

Many Professional Marketers will go to great lengths in their sales pages to convince you that no web site or web page is required to be successful as an affiliate marketer. And this is true, if you think you don’t need to build a subscriber-customer database of your own. You will, however, feel like you’ve gotten your face slapped when you apply to many of the topnotch affiliate programs, and your application is denied, because you don’t have a website or web page.

The learning curve for building a web site or web page with HTML is so intimating for many affiliate newbie would-be’s, they won’t even take the First Baby Step. Here is your solution. I’ve been using Kompozer for more than 2 years, an Open Source, free to download WYSIWYG (What You See Is What You Get) Editor, considered superior to many Editors costing $97.00 or more. Ready to get started building your first web page? Download Kompozer at http://kompozer.net/download.php.

In time you will want to invest in a wide variety of software applications to enhance and expand your web designing and web page creations. If you are a newbie, however, the last thing you want to do is complicate the process of web site and web page building. Adding to Kompozer the graphics creation application called Web Graphics Creator by Laughing Bird Software will complete your beginning affiliate tool kit.

Your investment in Kompozer: $0.00. Your investment in Web Graphics Creator: $39.95. You can purchase and down Web Graphics Creator, here: http://www.laughingbirdsoftware.com/the-web-graphics-creator.html

Your First Goal and Primary Objective

Take action! If you do not act upon this First Step that ALL affiliate marketers must take, you have no hope whatsoever of succeeding in earning a part-time or full-time income as an online business person. Complete the building of your web site and affiliate funnel pages, and you are ready to begin driving massively huge, targeted visitors, who will eagerly opt-in with their names and email addresses.

Question: Why would you drive traffic to an affiliate link that passes through to the seller’s product sales page? Answer: Don’t you think that’s a little like “putting the cart before the horse?”

Your objective, then, is to build your own large customer base, as an affiliate marketer. This is the only true way to earn a full time income as an affiliate marketer.

Traffic Trick No. 1 of the Affiliate Marketing Trade

Let’s suppose you take the time to develop your own Ezine or Newsletter. Why would you do this? Online Ezines and Newsletters are essentially emails delivered by autoresponder to potential customers, who have opted in to receive them.

The following define the most important purposes for developing an ezine, newsletter or mini-training course:

1. Newsletters, ezines and mini-courses may be used to develop a trust between your subscriber and you, as you deliver valuable free content to him and her.

2. How else would you discover, except by the most direct route (emails), the latest marketing trends, hot niches, software, audio-video training and digital information products than via your ezine, newsletter or mini-training course?

3. The time you are willing to invest into the development of your original ezine, newsletter or mini-training course is pure gold. It is an investment, like gold, that accrues the interest to return dollars for products delivered into the tens of thousands of earned income per month over time.

4. Yes, it takes time to learn how to properly build a web site or landing page, create original header and footer logos, write an ezine, newsletter or mini-course series of emails, and program them into an autoresponder. Do these steps, drive massive amounts of targeted traffic to your affiliate funnel pages, and succeed beyond your wildest dreams!

5. The real secret ingredient of Traffic Tip No. 1 is the rapport and trust you develop via the delivery of quality information to your potential customer subscriber base. The cash cow you construct with your sweat equity in learning how to build affiliate funnel pages and in the delivery of quality content, directly to your customer database, you will still be milking well into the future.

In summary of the above points, it is critical to develop an affiliate funnel or subscriber web page, first, to which you drive massive numbers of opt-in subscribers, in order to build your own customer list, deliver valuable free content to them via ezine, mini-course or newsletter, and lastly, to direct these qualified, potential buyers to your affiliate product offers, from which you will derive a part-time, and eventually a full-time affiliate income.

Mini-Training for ALL Newbie Affiliate Marketers: Inside Tip No. 1

Posted in affiliate marketing by Timothy R Walls on June 1st, 2009 | No Comments

ALL Affiliate Marketers Begin With the Same Small Baby Step

When you haven’t yet developed your own internet marketing information, software or audio-video training products, affiliate marketing is the least complicated and easiest way to start earning an income online from your work-from-home office. Don’t be fooled by guru offers that tell you a website or web page is not necessary. To be viewed as a professional affiliate marketer, one or both is absolutely essential.

You simply cannot create what is in your imagination without basic graphics creation software. I highly recommend Web Graphics Creator by Laughing Bird Software. With two basic tools, Kompozer and Web Graphics Creator, and the time required for you to master these essential web page creation software applications, you will become the Web Master, and save yourself outsourcing costs that can easily run into the $1,000s of dollars.

For well under $100.00, you can start building your first web site and web pages within minutes. For added convenience, I’ve included the Laughing Bird Software link: http://www.laughingbirdsoftware.com/the-web-graphics-creator.html

Your First Goal and Primary Objective

Your mission, Mr. Newbie Affiliate Marketer, if you decide to accept it, is hardly Mission Impossible! You will learn how to efficiently and effectively drive huge amounts of traffic to your main web site, including landing, squeeze and affiliate funnel pages, and bring back to Database Central the names and email addresses of thousands of potential customers.

The foolish person attempts to hitch the cart to the front of the horse, instead of its rear. The same is true if you spend all of your time and money energy driving massive traffic directly to the seller’s web site. Just don’t do it! Don’t you think that in spending all that time and money energy, you should be the one to keep those potential customers to sell to over and over, again?

Your objective, then, is to build your own large customer base, as an affiliate marketer. This is the only true way to earn a full time income as an affiliate marketer.

Affiliate Marketing Trick No. 1 for Earning a Full-time Income

Why would you take the time required to write your own original Ezine or Newsletter? What is an Ezine or Newsletter in their simplest form? Both are essential content emails which you program an autoresponder to deliver to your potential customer database of opt-in subscribers.

Of the many multiple purposes for developing an ezine or newsletter:

1. Communicating with your potential customers is a vital ingredient for earning a substantial affiliate income. You establish a empathic bond with your potential customer by delivering free quality content to him via email.

2. Newsletters keep your subscriber base updated with the latest trends, developments and products available on the Internet.

3. The delivery of your ezine, newsletter or min-training course at regular rhythmic intervals is one, if not the most powerful secret in your marketing strategy arsenal.

4. I hope I have shattered your illusion that Internet Marketing is something for nothing. These steps, simple as they can be, still require an investment of time and thought-energy to accomplish in the virtual reality of the Internet. The end result, however, can bring success to you as an affiliate marketer, leading to a lifetime online business, which requires only a few hours a day to maintain, which can be accomplished from anywhere in the world on your laptop.

5. The true secret ingredient is the rapport and and trust developed via the quality content you deliver to your potential customer database of opt-in subscribers. The goose that lays the golden eggs may still be laying golden eggs well into your retirement years.

Using Article Marketing To Build Sales & Traffic

Posted in affiliate marketing by Mark Alison on May 10th, 2009 | No Comments

Article marketing has become one of the most talked about strategies for Internet marketing lately. As one of the chief components in the bum marketing, and its newfound popularity is due to two significant characteristics: it’s free, and it works.

Two significant advantages for Internet marketers are exposure and backlinks. Article marketing provides exposure, and generates valuable inbound links or IBL’s.

As with most bum marketing techniques, article marketing is a numbers game. In order to be effective, it requires ongoing and consistent effort. One article submission may not do much for you, but one article submitted every day for two weeks provides an overall benefit greater than the sum of its parts.

To get the most out of your article submission strategy, it’s important to focus on one indivudual keyword or phrase for each individual article. It’s also very important to optimize each article, in much the same way you would optimize a website. Once an article is submitted, it becomes a one-page mini site.

Optimizing an article for the search engines is very similar to optimizing a webpage. Use your keyword or phrase in the article title, the first paragraph, the last paragraph, and as the anchor text in your link or resource box.

If you follow these few simple steps, your return on investment of time will be maximized. Article marketing should be one part of every Internet Marketer’s multipronged strategy, as it can be extremely effective and very inexpensive.
